January 12, 2010 - A 7.0 earthquake shook the earth and our lives have been forever changed. David Hames was working as a free-lance videographer on assignment
in Haiti with Compassion International. He and a co-worker had just returned to their hotel (Hotel Montana) and were walking toward the elevators in the lobby when
the earthquake hit. David's co-worker was rescued after being trapped 65-hours. David was recovered February 5th. David Hames has been one of our dearest friends since the Fall of 1988
when we met him at MTSU. For 22 years we have remained part of each others' lives and our friendship has only grown.
David and his wife have been living in Colorado Springs, CO for the past 15 years. They have two small children. David is the creator of Cranium's Ark; a video for pre-school children. As Captain Cranium, David wrote, starred in, directed and produced a character who taught
children how to count as well as entertaining them with songs based on Biblical teachings.
